Belfair Gardens is South Carolina's premier and most innovative, newly built, Assisted Living residence designed exclusively for persons with Alzheimer's and Dementia. Belfair Gardens has the distinct honor of receiving a "Deficiency-Free Survey." Receiving a perfect rating from the South Carolina Department of Health & Environmental Control is an outstanding accomplishment.

Nestled in the prestigious Belfair Neighborhood, Belfair Gardens opened in January 2011 and sits on a beautifully landscaped 6-acre private setting in the heart of Bluffton. The program was an instant success and reached maximum capacity within 3 months of its opening. Given the increasing demand for high quality Alzheimer's and dementia care services, we opened a new, state-of-the-art addition on December 19, 2012. 

Belfair Gardens is uniquely designed and features interactive neighborhoods with private suites situated around Town Square with working "Life Skills Stores” (such as a general store, antique shop, nursery, old-fashioned ice cream parlor, book nook, bait & tackle shop, art center, cinema, post office, barber shop, news stand, toy store and vintage sporting goods store). Open to residents 24 hours a day, Town Square represents Main Street America reminiscent of the early 1940's developed to bring back long-term memories and ensure residents relate to familiar settings from their yesteryear. Main Street opens into outdoor courtyards complete with putting greens, dog parks and shuffleboard courts. We have created an experience encouraging residents to enjoy what they have always done. Bakers will continue to bake. Fishermen will continue to fish.
