Nestled in the prestigious Belfair Neighborhood, Belfair Gardens opened in January 2011 and sits on a beautifully landscaped six-acre private setting in the heart of Bluffton, SC. Belfair Gardens redefines Memory Care with a purpose-built, state-of-the-art Assisted Living residence designed exclusively for persons with Alzheimer's and Dementia. 

Belfair Gardens is uniquely designed featuring two houses, the Public House and the Residence House, in one building connected by a secure entry. The Public House includes administration, concierge areas and public spaces. The Residence House is where programming and hands-on care takes place, and includes interactive neighborhoods with private apartments situated around purpose driven resident common areas and an innovative “Town Square” with working "Life Skills Stores” such as a General Store, Antique Shop and Nursery. Open to residents 24 hours a day, the Town Square represents Main Street America reminiscent of the early 1940's developed so residents can relate to familiar settings from their yesteryear. We have created an experience encouraging residents to enjoy what they have always done. Fishermen will continue to fish, artist will continue to create and dancers will continue to dance. This one-of-a-kind concept is a vital part of our sensory based programming and was innovatively developed by specialists with decades of personal and professional experience with Memory Care. It has been medically proven to increase a sense of ease for residents and help create happy memories while minimizing the use of medication.
